The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation has played a pivotal role in empowering Indian students to pursue higher education abroad. Established with a vision to promote excellence in education, the foundation focuses on providing financial assistance and support to deserving students. The scholarships offered by the foundation aim to nurture the intellectual potential of Indian youth, encouraging them to excel in their fields of study and contribute positively to society.
Education is a key driver for personal and national development, and the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation recognizes this vital role. By investing in young minds, the foundation not only helps students achieve their academic goals but also promotes cross-cultural exchange and global understanding. This commitment to education and cultural diversity is what makes the Inlaks scholarships highly sought after among Indian students aiming for international academic opportunities.
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation offers a range of scholarships designed to cater to various academic disciplines and levels of study. Understanding the types of scholarships available and their eligibility criteria is essential for potential applicants.
The foundation provides scholarships for multiple fields of study, including:
One of the most compelling advantages of the Inlaks scholarships is the comprehensive financial support they offer. Here’s a detailed overview of what the scholarship typically covers:
Tuition Fees: The scholarship generally covers the full tuition fees for the duration of the selected course, which can range from ₹2,000,000 to ₹4,000,000 per year, depending on the university and the course of study. This financial backing allows students to focus on their education without the constant worry of tuition payments.
Monthly Stipend: Inlaks scholars receive a monthly stipend designed to cover living expenses, including accommodation, food, transportation, and other daily costs. This amount typically ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹50,000, allowing students to maintain a comfortable lifestyle while studying abroad.
Travel Expenses: The foundation often provides a one-time travel allowance to help cover the cost of flights to and from the host country. This is particularly beneficial for students who may find international travel to be a significant financial burden.
Health Insurance: A critical aspect of studying abroad is ensuring that students have access to healthcare. The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation scholarships usually include coverage for health insurance, ensuring that students can seek medical attention without the fear of incurring high costs.
Additional Financial Support: Scholarships may also include funding for specific research projects, conferences, or thesis-related expenses. This additional financial support can be invaluable for students looking to gain further academic experience and enhance their resumes.
