Birkbeck, University of London, is renowned for its commitment to providing access to higher education for a diverse student body. One of its most prestigious initiatives, the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships, aims to empower exceptional students from a variety of backgrounds to achieve their academic and career aspirations. These scholarships are designed to support the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators.


Benefits

  • Undergraduate Degrees: Full-time undergraduate students receive a £500 tuition fee discount per year, valid for up to three years. This totals £1,500 over the course of three years.
  • Master’s Courses: Full-time master’s students are eligible for a £1,500 tuition fee reduction, applicable during their first year of enrolment only.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be international students paying international tuition fees.
  • They must be enrolled in a full-time programme, as courses with foundation years are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students should have received an offer that meets the university's entry requirements and must enrol in a full-time undergraduate or master’s course beginning in October 2024 or January 2025.
  • Applicants must also be ordinarily resident in India.

Application Process

There is no need to apply. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will be applied automatically at the point of enrolment.
