The Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship is a prestigious award granted by Harvard Business School (HBS) to outstanding students passionate about social enterprise. Established in 1988 by the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation and members of the Harvard Class of 1985, the fellowship aims to support MBA students who aspire to lead impactful careers in nonprofit and public sector roles.


Benefits

  • The Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship Award values up to 10,000 USD,
  • The fellowship is awarded annually to seven to ten first-year MBA students.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must secure admission at HBS to be considered for Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship

Apart from this, applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below:

  • Must be enrolled for an MBA in the first year at HBS.
  • Must have served in full-time leadership roles in the public sector or any non-profit sector prior to enrolling for MBA at HBS.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the public sector career.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • IELTS (7.5.), TOEFL (109), PTE (75)
  • Full time leadership in Non profit organisation

Application Process

Students will not have to draft a separate application for this scholarship. The university authorities will automatically consider students for this scholarship while they apply for the particular study programs.
