Before applying, it’s essential to ensure you meet both general and region-specific eligibility requirements.
Applicants must remain full-time PhD students for the entire duration of the fellowship. Otherwise, the award will be revoked.
Google employees, as well as their spouses, children, or household members, are not eligible.
Students who are already receiving similar fellowships from industry partners are not eligible. However, funding from government or non-profit sources is permitted.
Previous recipients of the Google PhD Fellowship cannot reapply.
