The Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) at the University of Jember, Indonesia, invites international applicants to participate in a paid internship program that blends research, cultural exchange, and real-world experience in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic academic settings.
This internship offers participants the chance to engage in work related to human rights, multiculturalism, and migration, while being immersed in the vibrant culture of East Java, Indonesia. Whether you're a student, graduate, or early-career professional, this program is designed to help you grow academically and professionally—all while making a meaningful impact.

To apply for the CHRM2 Internship, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a native English speaker OR demonstrate fluency in English (via a writing sample, TOEFL/IELTS scores optional but accepted)
Indonesian language skills are not required, but an advantage (language courses are available on campus)
Open to applicants from all nationalities
Hold or be pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree, or possess equivalent work experience
Demonstrate a background or strong interest in human rights, migration, or multiculturalism
Show qualities of leadership, commitment, flexibility, and initiative
