The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2025–2026 offer an incredible opportunity for students from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries to pursue a UK Master's degree—without leaving their home country. These scholarships are fully funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and are designed to strengthen skills and promote sustainable development across various global regions.
Through this prestigious program, students can enroll in part-time, online Master’s programs offered by leading UK universities. These scholarships support learners who may not otherwise afford an international education, removing both financial and geographical barriers.
This initiative goes beyond funding—it's about creating impact. Scholars can contribute meaningfully to their home countries while accessing world-class UK education. The program places a strong focus on inclusion, professional development, and practical relevance.
Scholarships are awarded in alignment with the following six priority themes:
Science and Technology for Development
Strengthening Health Systems and Capacity
Promoting Global Prosperity
Strengthening Global Peace, Security, and Governance
